Probably a scent people will either truly love or hate with a vengeance. At first application, it smelled heavily of black licorice and I wasn’t sure if it would be usable for myself. After dry down, it was more pine needles and wood- kind of a clean, woodsy scent. I don’t detect any citrus or floral on my skin, but everyone is different of course. I’m sensitive to scent but found this to be pretty subtle. It seems appropriate for all genders, too.
